This is the first official album I've put out. It's something that sounds a lot more different compared to the rest of my works. I tried experimenting with a much more ambient-feel album during that time (with artists like Nmesh being the main inspiration) with various different sample clips, ambience and a somewhat consistent concept. The song "come here." has also become the first fastest growing track I've ever made, probably due to the Ryuko meme that was going around at the time.
This was written between September 2020 - January 2021 (5 months), between mid-term breaks and in the middle of exam weeks. I ended up getting a whole new PC in December, so the 'Beneath the Mask' ambient remix was the first thing I ever created using it. Crazy to think this was released after lockdown was happening again, too.
Physical copies of this did exist for a while, made by a friend who ran a now defunct label, "Tatami Isopod Records". 2 versions existed, one printed with glossy paper, and the other with standard printing paper. I made some of my own, but they were all given to friends as gifts.
